On a two lane road
in a driving downpour
I press forward…
Tears flow as the images
replay in my mind.
Like an old record player,
that slowly returns to the beginning
each time it reaches the part
that is too damaged to bypass;
There you are…
writhing like a snake beneath her,
raven locks falling across your chest.
Your firm grasp of her ample round bottom,
as you thrust deeply to release your passion,
extinguishing two fires in a united crescendo,
was more than my little heart could take.
I never saw the curve.
Unlike the well equipped dream car
you bought me,
there were no wiper blades
to shield my eyes
from your acid rain.

Thank you Alison. I wrote this long ago for one of those photo challenges, but some things we can only know when we truly know. 🙂

Your voice is very pleasant. I enjoyed your pacing, too. 🙂

Thank you Ka. That’s so sweet of you to say. I think being able to hear gives it another level of depth. 🙂
