I love the sounds and smells of camping breakfast in the morning…

The tantalizing aromas of Coffee steaming, Bacon, eggs, and sausage sizzling over open fires.

Dishes clinking, soft murmurs of quiet conversation and sweet laughter while people enjoy their first morning cup.

Birds chirping out their melodies, as fresh babbling water meanders by on its way downstream.

Quacking ducks stopping by hoping to partake in whatever you’re willing to share.

It’s going to be a very good day!

Sunshine and rainbows and happily ever after are the fairytales of our youth

Even the best laid plans will be met with the storms of life, that when weathered, bravely or otherwise, are meant to show us who we are and forge us into something greater.

So, when the occasional darkness has the audacity to try and block out your sun…

Remember who you are…

That this too will surely pass…

Know that I am here and always on your side.

Each tempest survived will only serve to strengthen you for the next.

YOU are STARDUST!

Seeds of Love

Soon we will be parting

And I have got the blues

My heart and mind are fighting

Oh which one will I choose

My heart tells me I love you

My mind says it’s too soon

Though the seed becomes the flower

It needs some time to bloom

Once the seed is planted

It will begin to sprout

Like the seed the love in my heart

Is growing without a doubt

But love seeds cost just pennies

And many are planted each year

Without the tending they need to grow

The sprouts will die it’s clear.
