First Amendment Thoughts

Words have power!

They can shape hearts and minds…

Sometimes for good and often for the opposite.

Well placed words can inflict grave injury or spur violent action.

They are no less dangerous than a loaded gun carelessly left for whomever might happen upon it.

We must choose our words carefully and hold those accountable who do not.

While we are free to express ourselves, we are not free from the consequences of the expressions we make that cause harm to others.

Changing of the Guard

Mr. republican man I really don’t like your plans

Women will suffer and die in your legislative hands

You’re free to believe what you like, but not to force those beliefs on others…

It’s simply none of your business what we do with our bodies or under the covers.

Luckily for us your time of hatred and oppression will soon be ending…

As new diverse generations come to power our progression is pending.

Justice for All

Law and order when it suits you… as long as it’s not used against you…it was only meant to punish those with whom you disagree.

Law and order when it suits you does not suit those of us who oppose you seeking accountability for your misdeeds.

Law and order when it suits you will be the thing that indeed unseats you when the damning truth’s laid bare for all to see.
