There you are with your grand attempt to get my attention…

You address me loudly from across the room as if we were long lost friends.

You think… knowing my name and our brief history of casual cordiality entitle you to some sort of deference… it does not!

You made your position clear when you removed the loose connection that allowed your beliefs to be questioned and you to have to defend them.

Your unwanted projection of nicety was really just, your passive aggressive way of saying “ha ha I won, and by the way, how are you dealing with it?”.

But I know who you are…

And I know what you did…

You haven’t won.

Your cognitive dissonance blinds you to those you’ve betrayed

and to what you’ve truly lost.

We are not…and never will be…friends.
