Tiny hands and tiny feet

New beginnings soft and sweet

 

Sandy blonde with a touch of red

and sun kissed dew adorn his head

 

A new life embraced by loving hands

with big dreams and future plans

 

A mother’s heart bursts with love

and she hopes it will always be enough

 

To secure an existence happy and bright

and to save her son from undo strife

 

A father’s heart overflows with love and pride

though he’s well versed in the pitfalls of raising new life

 

He’s been down this road time and time again

Standing strong through hardships that have wrecked lesser men

 

Together they LOVE, fears overtaken by JOY

As they welcome to the world their new baby boy.
